Peanut Oil as you need cooking oil with a high smoke point, such as lard or peanut oil. Of course, there's the health issue as well. Using oil in cooking is a big issue and concern for many people, concerning the fat and cholesterol contents of cooking oil. But I am going to tell you about cooking oils. The best cooking oil you can use for flavor and health. The two clear winners are Olive Oil and Canola Oil. a WOK does not need ';special oil'; at all.


SIMPLE ORDINARY SUNFLOWER SEED OIL works just as well but some people believe that ';Virgin Olive oil'; is best.


As for me, I stay away from anything that has to do with virginity, so I use a few drops of cooking oil, (sunflower seed oil) and have never had come backs.What is the oil used to stir fry in a wok?

There is 'wok oil' you can get, but its not the healthiest; Best to use any oil that can withstand high temperatures
peanut oil. this oil can get extremely hot and not burn. thats why we use peanut oil when we deep fry our turkey!!
